Its not the size of the Miracle that Counts
This morning as I sat on my jetty I was reminded to ask for signs in my daily life as confirmation of my connection to spirit.A few months ago in the same spot on the jetty, I asked for a sign that spirit is with me, a few seconds later a dolphin surfaced from the water some twenty feet from me. So today as I sat and braced myself for some grand sign, a very small fish jumped in front of me. To be honest I could not hide my disappointment. “Is that the best you’ve got”?
Instantly in the back of my head I heard the words “little fish are sweet”. I don’t need a bolt of lightning as proof. Humbly I bowed my head in defeat and reflected for a while.
Neale Donald Walsh reminds us to look for miracles everyday in your life. For me the trick is to stop and acknowledge them as they are presented to me. These are wonderful co incidences that leave me with that feeling of wow, that was pretty cool. The more I stop and acknowledge them the more they will come into my life and yours if you choose to do the same.
I have a morning mantra that I would love to share with you. Use it if you like it .
Thy will be done.
Today is a day of completion.
I give thanks for a perfect day.
Where Miracles will follow Miracle.
And Wonders will never cease.
