The vocal Toning workshop is a fun and profound vocal exploration. Learn some simple vocal toning exercises, overtone singing and gain powerful tools for your own practice and healing. In a safe supportive environment, you can learn how to use your voice for releasing stress and blockages, increasing harmony and clarity and raising your vibration. This is not a singing workshop! You don’t need to be a singer! In fact, If you feel shy or constricted with your voice and expression, this can be a great gift for you.

Toning has a neurochemical effect on the body, boosting the immune system and causing the release of endorphins. Toning assists in good breathing and posture, giving the body an inner massage and stimulation. It also helps us to release stress and repressed emotions. Regular toning and humming helps to re-energize the body and restore health to the mind, body and spirit.

Hi all, I am really looking forward to this workshop with you. I will be sharing a practice that has deeply transformed me and helped me navigate through life with more clarity and confidence. If you are uncomfortable with the idea of singing or think you don’t have a good voice, this might be just the opportunity for you !

This workshop does not involve singing or chanting, but rather using the voice in a very simple, non confronting and effective way. We will be mostly toning and experiencing how our voice can help shift our energy and perspective, move stuck energy, release trauma and uplift our vibration. If you are stressed, uninspired, If you feel constricted with your voice, speaking, singing and generally communicating, or if you are just interested in a fun and insightful immersion in the power of sound please come along.

STAY FOR THE SOUND SHOWER THAT NIGHT AT THE CWA HALL UP  THE ROAD

If you have attended the course. For $10 extra hand around and stay for the Soundshower that evening which combines chimes, Tibetan bowls, flutes and vocal harmonics. During a session, you will be invited to lie down and immerse in vibrations created by these special instruments.

Throughout the “Shower” different instruments are carried around the room and sometimes placed physically on the body.
Flutes and voice are used to create a magical musical journey and overtones charge the brain and energize the body.
The aluminium chimes which are at the centre of the Soundshower are tuned to the earth year tone. This tone is the sound created by the earth’s movement around the Sun. The 32nd octave of this movement is C# at 136.1 hertz.

Music played by instruments tuned to the earth year frequency naturally slows down brainwave activity and heart rate and induces a deep meditative state. Being exposed to these healing frequencies enhances a physical , mental and emotional calibration to the human body and energy  Find out more about the evening event
