The Theme for this week is “The Magic of Damanhur“.

For the first half of the night Squalo Canapa  will present an inspiring one hour introductory talk on the Federation of Damanhur, a United Nations Award Winning Sustainable Community of 1,000 men, women and children. Together they have built nine incredible temples dedicated to humanity, underneath a mountain in the foothills of the Italian Alps.

The second part of the night Lyza will hold one of the Pendant used in Damanhur for healing and dreamwork and guide us through a number of meditations or Trance Channeling relating to the energy that works with this wonderful organisation.

During his talk Squalo will show a video of the amazing subterranean temples, which he helped to dig, out of the mountain. Squalo will speak about the community, their artistic and creative pursuits and their research into healing and the music of the plants.  He is an ambassador for the Federation of Damanhur and has been a member of the community for over thirty years.

Regarded as the 8th Wonder of the World,  the Underground Temples of Damanhur are hand dug, art-filled Temples of Humankind are like a large book of knowledge dedicated to universal spirituality. The images and symbols within the Temples awaken the sense of the sacred that is the fundamental inheritance of every human being. The artwork on these walls depict the history of the world.

The Federation of Damanhur is a United Nations Award Winning Sustainable Community of 1,000 men, women and children. It is located in a valley in the Piedmont region, close to the Swiss Alps, where there is a meeting of synchronic lines of energy circling the earth. Four of these lines cross here and create an energy vortex which is beneficial for healing on all levels. The people there are all very friendly, energetic and happy. The innovative centre was refurbished from an abandoned Olivetti office equipment factory and is an example of Damanhur’s commitment to environmental reclamation, and to avant-garde research for health, society and the environment. Its studios, shops, photos and video exhibits display aspects of the Federation and the Temples of Humankind. You can visit their science labs where new sources of food and energy are being developed. Damanhur scientists and inventors have done significant research and have developed numerous patented devices and procedures that are used in the medical, energy, scientific and spiritual fields. It is an incredible place! I experienced cyclamen plants which had electrodes attached to a leaf and were connected to a synthesiser. I had a jam with the plants on the synthesiser for about three hours! They also connect trees and other plants to the synthesiser to create music for various rites, meditations and dances.

How does the channeling work:  As a spiritual healer Lyza originally only let her healing guides work through her forearms, hands and heart in her healing room during sessions with clients.
